2001 Gibson Les Paul Custom Historic ’57 Reissue R7 (Faded Cherry Mahogany Top)

This is an all mahogany 1957 custom reissue with a one piece grainy mahogany top. This is near mint for a 15 year old guitar and I cannot find any blemishes worth noting, easily as new as anything hanging on the wall of a guitar store.

The neck is a round 50’s profile but feels more like a ’59 as it’s not baseball bat big like some R7’s and R8’s. Weight is 9 lbs 15 oz on my digital postal scale. The pickups are 57 Classics.

Comes with the custom shop historic case, but no certificate as I don’t think they were issuing them in 2001 (I think that was a transition year so some got them and some did not).
