Kontakt Player offers solid performance, direct-from-disk streaming, lossless sample compression, and a user interface designed specifically for Galaxy Pianos.This virtual instrument samples the full 97-key Bösendorfer right down to the sympathetic vibrations these lower timbres provide, thus engendering a piano tone even more sonorous and resonant when the damper pedal is depressed. To capture the effects of this lower register, additional microphones have been utilized. It is also worth noting that this piano was sampled at Hansahaus Studios in Germany, a Grammy-winning facility well known for its jazz recordings.
