1997 Hamer Phantom Made in USA Prototype Variant OHSC

The original Made in USA, Hamer are as good as any american guitar ever made. Period. Superior hardware, great tonewoods, precise fit and finish, great fretwork, no shortcuts even on their standard models. The Phantom grew out of the Prototype model, that James Honeyman Scott and Andy Summers played and were photographed with. I was a big JHS fan and the prototype only had the one big 3 coil pickup with a rotary knob. The Phantom adds a neck single coil into the mix and this one has the Stop tail and TOB instead of that hardtail platform bridge on the Prototype. These guitars have nothing but an upside and you had better get them when you see them! This one comes with the original hardshell case. This was part of a private collection. Thanks for looking !
