Vintage 1985 Squier Stratocaster by Fender (Japan)
Here is a very cool, ALL ORIGINAL vintage 1985 Japanese Squire Stratocaster in Incredible, lightly used condition, made at the highly regarded Fuji-gen Plant (for Fender Japan) No modifications of any kind. This guitar is over 40 years old, yet the condition is like new, and she is ready to go for another 40 years!
This model has a few unique features, including a single, great sounding Gotoh Humbucker pickup in the bridge position, with a single volume control and NO tone control. Gotoh tremolo bridge. Very slim, fast-playing maple neck. A thick and beautifully rich 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with some really nice figuring to the rosewood grain (see photos) and finally, a graphite headnut. Quality workmanship throughout.
Black finished headstock overlay matches the body color.
Super easy to play, and well-suited to a person with smaller hands, due to this guitar's 24 3/4" scale length. Nice and lightweight at 7.6 lbs.
Very light usage, the condition is overall EXCELLENT. Original frets with hardly any sign of wear.
The frets still have years of life.
*There is one small "ding" (about 1/2" long) on the back of the neck behind the third fret (see photo) and some typical pickguard scratching. You won't find a cleaner one!
Sale includes original Fender gig bag also in Excellent to Mint condition and original tremolo arm.
