The Heerby brand was made by the Kasuga factory and adorned their copies of known US brand guitars. They are well known for excellent quality and this SG from the mid 1970's is no exception.
Weighing in at a slender 3.2kg (approx) and in great condition for a near 45 year old instrument but with all of the legendary tone you'd expect from it's Maxon ('76 dated) PAF front pickup and unknown bunt likely Gotoh PAF rear, this is a rare beauty not to be missed.
A set mahogany neck, lovely looking rosewood fretboard with black lining and frets with plenty of life in them. Gotoh tuners all work smoothly. Electronics work well at testing - vintage electronics, however, can fail at any time and so can come with no guarantee of continued operation.
