The Mesa Gold Mine is a high-gain aficionado’s delight. This overdrive pedal delivers enough raunchy saturation to satisfy the staunchest Boogie fan, but with the perfect amount Brit-flavored harmonic complexity. The Gold Mine isn’t a one-trick pony, however. Back off the Gain knob, and you’ll experience a subtle overdrive that’s guaranteed to inject sweetness into every note you play. The violin-like sustain that this guitar effect pedal yields with heavy gain settings sounds phenomenal. There’s plenty of sound-shaping onboard the Gold Mine, thanks to a 3-band EQ. Beyond that, there’s an internal Tight switch that (surprise) tightens up your low end for fast-tracking performance that’s ideal for technical rhythm playing and solo work.

The same skilled hands that have built an entire empire of iconic amps — from the multifaceted Mark Five to the inimitable Triple Rec — are the very hands that build every Mesa Gold Mine pedal that leaves the line. The Mesa Gold Mine is built here in the USA, in sunny California, using the finest sonic circuits ever discovered. The Gold Mine boasts an extremely musical and intuitive control set that's quick to dial in and sacrifices nothing in terms of tone. True bypass switching preserves your dry signal when switched out of your chain. And a low-draw topology that accepts a wall supply or a 9V battery means the Mesa Gold Mine pedal is yours to incorporate into any rig you own.
