There's not a guitar player alive who doesn't love kicking back and cranking up into a dimed British tube amp — you know the one we mean. That low-mid gut punch. That glassy top-end sparkle. That crunchy knobs-at-11 saturation. It's the very foundation on which the past 50 years of rock music have been built. Well, the good folks at Mesa Engineering have found a way to bottle the British sound into the Dynaplex ("Plex"? Purple? Get it?) overdrive pedal. Paired with the right tube amp, the Dynaplex has all the features and plenty of juicy gain to take you from soul-kissed English blues to a Pandora's stack of pandemonium. In addition to common Level, Gain, and Tone controls, the Mesa Dynaplex features the all-important interactive Presence control to give you a taste of that power tube treble chime. There's even an internal voicing switch to get you a classic mid-forward chirp or a modern midrange scoop that's better suited to contemporary playing styles. Looking for cranked British amp tone in a box? The Mesa Engineering Dynaplex overdrive has what it takes to transform your base tone.

The same skilled hands that have built an empire of iconic amps — from the multifaceted Mark V to the inimitable Triple Rec — are the very hands that build every Mesa Dynaplex pedal that leaves the line. The Mesa Dynaplex overdrive is built here in the USA, in sunny California, using the finest sonic circuits ever discovered. The Dynaplex boasts an extremely musical and intuitive control set that's quick to dial in and sacrifices nothing in terms of tone. True bypass switching preserves your dry signal when switched out of your chain. And a low-draw topology that accepts a wall supply or a 9-volt battery means the Mesa Dynaplex pedal is yours to incorporate into any rig you own. Looking for enhanced true British tone from a floor-friendly pedal format? Reach for the Mesa Dynaplex overdrive pedal.
