Sony TA-N9000ES: A fantastic 5-channel vintage power amp!
The Sony TA-N9000ES, released in 1998, is a Japanese high-fidelity 5-channel power amplifier with an exceptional reputation for its build quality and sound. Sony are known for their exceptional audio products, and this amp follows in the vein of the company’s high-performing legacy. The channels in the power amplifier block are completely discrete. It has a rated output of 155 W per channel (240W in BTL mode) and is nearly universally praised for its sound, which is described by critics as being organic and “tube-like”. It can be operated as a 2, 3, or 4 channel amplifier as well. This is an exceptional amp if you are looking to setup a top-notch home theater. Don’t miss it!
