Analog Fox Superfuzz clone 2016 Aluminum. Does not work properly!

Ok all you DIY pedal builders, here's a chance to get a great pedal (or parts) cheap.

Recently bought this to satisfy my Superfuzz jones, but it arrived from Russia not working quite right.

To be fair to the builder, he graciously offered to replace it for free, but I just didn't feel like dealing with shipping the thing back to Russia and waiting.

Here's the deal with the pedal.

1) When it works, it sounds fantastic. This is why I bought it. Plus it has a stomp switch for the EQ cut instead of a toggle. This makes it much more useful live.

2) What happens is that the sound cuts out intermittently, or sometimes it doesn't pass signal at all. Sometimes it does. It all seems to depend on the whim of the universe.

3) One transistor has a wonky cold solder joint.  I have pointed to this component in one of the pics (metal can in between two blue capacitors in the third picture)  (solder joint pictured too). The pedal works fine once you jiggle this transistor a bit.

4) Pedal also cuts off it the enclosure touches metal.

This pedal would be perfect for a DIY hobbyist or for someone buying it for parts. It has some nice NOS transistors in it.

This is probably an easy fix. I just don't feel like doing it or dealing with it.
