Fisher TX 1000

*Please keep in mind you are purchasing an electronic component that is possibly 40+ years old, and will NOT be new-in-box perfect. This is the nature of vintage hifi equipment - it's a journey - and part of the fun in collecting. In my opinion, if you want something to be 100% perfect, you are better off buying a hifi unit brand new.
Also note that I do not fix what is not broken and only refurbish units if it warrants it somehow. A fully refurbished unit would reflect a much higher price tag. A basic servicing from me (unless noted otherwise via the listing), will be cleaning of the pots, overall cosmetic cleaning and lubricating, bulb changing and full input/speaker checks. I will only take a unit in to my repair tech if it shows signs of it not working correctly when I test all inputs.
My intent is to explain to the fullest extent what the item is, how it works, and any opinions I may on said HIFI component.*

The Fisher TX-1000 is a professional caliber stereo control amplifier that houses highly sophisticated audio control and amplifying facilities in one compact, elegantly styled unit.

The amplifier's high power and inherent flexibility make it the ideal control center of a complete home or commercial entertainment system.

It will accept an extraordinarily wide variety of program sources: dynamic microphones, a mono or stereo tape transport, a stereo record player with low or high output magnetic cartridge, a mono or stereo radio tuner, and up to two auxiliary program sources of your choice.
