1959 Premier Bantam Deluxe with original hard shell case. This is a rare and sweet guitar, small body hollow body with DeArmond 200 pick ups, the more rare and desirable option at the time and they sound amazing. This guitar has had new binding, a very nice job, and like many Gretsch and Guilds of the day, not an uncommon thing. The color is a lovely soft honey with just a splash of ice tea clearly visible around the very edges from the rebind finish work needed to complete the job. Grover Imperial tuners, with a couple of replaced appropriate ferrules. A pro re-fret and likely neck set , and the tail piece attachment bracket is a re-pro with original tail piece in place and a replacement bridge. All in all, a rare and beautiful small body arch top electric with 13 1/2 inch lower bout and 24.9 inch scale, comfortable and easy to handle with u shaped neck profile, with all the power and tone that you'd expect from it's larger cousins. The case has been taped around the edges, but functions well, not a snug a fit, but not uncommon for 57 year old padding and we will make sure it is well protected during any shipping, which will be Fedex in the CONUS only with adult signature required at time of delivery.
