Here is a 1930's Vega Moderne Plectrum Banjo. In 50 years of banjo selling, I have only seen 3 Moderne model banjos. Two of them were tenors and this one, a Plectrum. Theses were made during the 1930's. A combination of the depression and the supplanting of banjos by electric guitars for big bands led to very few of these being made. The banjo is all original and in pretty good condition for a banjo nearing 90 years old. The case is original and in good condition. The 1930's Vega catalog pictured is NOT included with the banjo. It is only for information. Shipping on this banjo is $85.00 dollars in the lower 48 states.
