This is a treble booster which is a Rangemaster at heart, but….

I sometimes find that Rangemasters can sound a little overly compressed. So, enter Dirty Mac with its crunchy classic rock tuning. Still a treble boost, still a good old Rangemaster, but will sound good whether your amplifier is properly cooking or not. The top end is bright just as it should be, but not overwhelmingly so and actually has emphasised mids, very helpful for guitarists. You won’t lose your core guitar tone, it just makes everything sound….better. Pretty touch sensitive too.

The original 60’s unit was basic and so is this. No LED’s or external power socket. Just plug in and go. (Battery draw is very low on these, so will last for many many gigs before you need to think about replacing)
