The subwoofer works perfectly and was barely used (seriously, it just sat in my closet). It's in excellent shape except the glue holding the fabric to the grille came off at the top as the pictures show, and I haven't bothered to glue it back on because I'm a lazy ass. The grille looks stained or something in the photos but it's just dust and the fabric itself is in great shape too, it would take five minutes to glue it back on. Happy to take more pictures as well.
Mackie HRS120 overview
The HRS120 is a 12" active subwoofer that is ideal for applications where precise, low frequency reproduction and flexible monitoring and control options are required. It is perfectly suited for professional recording studios and film/video surround post-production facilities that require extremely accurate bass extension down to 19Hz.
The crossover point of the HRS120 is variable which allows the two high-pass outputs to be programmed so as to match the frequencies the main speakers are best able to reproduce. The subwoofer has provisions not only for left/right input/output for stereo applications, but also allows for connecting the low frequency effects channel form a mixer for using the subwoofer in a surround situation.
The FR series built-in amplifier allows for precise phase alignment and extremely low distortion. An added benefit is the minimal chance of speaker damage due to overdriving the system. A built-in, front-firing, mass-loaded passive radiator helps deliver the clear, detailed low frequency enhancement, and user adjustable controls provide the flexibility to adjust the HRS120 to a wide range of user needs. Additionally, the subwoofer is also an excellent choice for home theater surround-sound installations.
