You also get a durable all-black coated finish that’s built to withstand a lifetime of stomping and rocking. If you want to duplicate classic Cream- and Hendrix-esque wah-wah effects, the Vox V845 is the right tool for the job.

Vox — inventor of the wah
Vox developed the first wah-wah effect during the 1960s in order to enable guitarists to emulate the sound of a muted trumpet. The unique sonic characteristics of Vox’s original wah pedal subsequently became immensely widespread, thanks to pioneering guitarists such as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and others. Today, the wah is as popular as ever — you’ll almost never see a guitarist without a wah pedal in their gear. It’s a must-have!
