DESCRIPTION

The Shure BETA 57A dynamic microphone is designed to capture the true tone of vocals and instruments. With its uniform supercardioid polar pattern, the BETA 57A microphone rejects unwanted background noise and provides excellent isolation. Guitarists, vocalists and recording engineers will appreciate the BETA 57A's ability to warmly reproduce the nuances of any performance. The neodymium magnet and hardened grille make this mic durable enough for close-miking techniques in both live and studio applications. Discover why many leading artists choose the Shure BETA 57A to amplify their craft.

Supercardioid Polar Pattern Minimizes Feedback

The supercardioid polar pattern of the BETA 57A microphone captures sound from the front of the mic while attenuating unwanted noise from the sides and rear. This directional quality provides high gain before feedback in live settings and superior isolation in the recording studio. The BETA 57A's polar pattern remains consistent across all frequencies for accurate off-axis rejection and tonal balance.

Tailored Frequency Response Captures Every Detail

With a frequency range of 50Hz to 16kHz, the BETA 57A microphone accentuates the warmth and clarity of any vocal or instrument. The tailored frequency response provides an open, natural sound with rich lows, clear mids and crisp highs. This balanced tone makes the BETA 57A ideal for reproducing the nuances of vocals, acoustic guitars, guitar amps, drums and more.

Rugged Design Handles Close Miking

The Shure BETA 57A microphone is built to handle close-miking techniques in live and studio applications. Its hardened steel grille protects the capsule from damage during energetic performances. An internal shockmount reduces handling noise for a clear signal and the neodymium magnet construction delivers high output, low distortion audio. This sleek design gives artists and engineers the freedom to place the BETA 57A mic wherever the best sound can be captured.
