The Wolff Amp is based around a 5-Watt Supro, but has been upgraded to 10 Watts and is more versatile while still maintaining a classic and transparent tone. The only control is Volume, and there are Bright and Boost switches. Anything that is changed in front of the amp (tone knobs, pedals, etc) will greatly influence your tone. That being said, it has its own character as well. It has superb presence, particularly with the Bright Switch engaged. It overdrives well and keeps exceptional clarity even digging in with the Boost on.
The Wolff Amp also has a Hi Z output. You can use this amp as a tube based preamp and run it into whatever you want. Run it into the power amp section of a Twin to get a vintage tone at high volume or run it with a bass amp and to get a thunderously gritty bass tone. It also has an 8 ohm speaker output and its internal Jensen speaker can be disconnected.
