This Japanese rarity, a vintage acoustic guitar by Ibanez of the model type Concord 752 "Black Beauty", is a handbuilt instrument from 1976 with a solid spruce top, which is now looking for a new home.

It is a dreadnought with excellent build quality from the golden age of Japanese Ibanez production. The guitar comes with a hand-polished, deep black, fine-grained solid spruce top and maple back and sides. The rosewood bridge is adjustable and thickly shaped. Due to the large surface area the bridge (similar to a Gibson Jumbo) transfers the string vibration very nicely into the body and a very voluminous and powerful tone is created. The tonewood combination also contributes to a very clear and differentiated sound.

Smoothly turning, chrome-plated machine heads and neck and body binding in perfect condition (and aged vintage cream tone) complete the guitar. A great fretboard with block mother of pearl inlays, double black pickguard, intricately designed rosette and even low string action make this guitar truly a dream in terms of playability and aesthetics.

Meanwhile this model is quite rare and very sought after by collectors: https://reverb.com/de/item/34808608-ibanez-concord-752-1976-black-beauty?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=1902386356&merchant_id=252952377&gclid=Cj0KCQjwp4j6BRCRARIsAGq4yMF9xE7YppAFYaFopmDk9SLo8Iiwrp5IWthT8M_y390k267wWykBveAaAnIIEALw_wcB

There are, as you would expect at this age, a very few scratches and scrapes in the surface, but nothing dramatic that would affect the sound or playability (see pictures). Since it was played frequently, the tone wood has aligned itself nicely and the guitar sounds better than most guitars available in guitar shops today. In short, it is a well-preserved classic that will hopefully give the new owner many years of pleasure.

Before shipping, I adjust the guitar (I am a longtime guitar teacher) and ship it in a black, well-preserved hard-shell case with Ibanez lettering. Unfortunately, I sell it because my guitar collection has become too extensive in the last 40 years...

Insured shipping with DHL within Germany for 9,49€ possible. Within Europe for 24,99€.

Please have a look at all photos of the condition before buying and clarify any questions with me in advance! Thanks a lot. :)
