Electra Model X340 MPC SLM ELECTRIC GUITAR (serial # 08614) in Satin Jacaranda Finish...((THIS IS Pre 1978 Lawsuit Era))
1975-1977 This is a rare little beast, before the 1977 lawsuit from Gibson/Norlin. The MPC series of guitars, by Electra, were way ahead of their time. With the internal modules you could do all kinds of crazy things just from the front of your guitar. This particular model is the prettiest looking out of all of them. With the Satin Jacaranda finish, gold hardware, and mother of pearl inlays, this guitar is beautiful. This guitar looks to be a closet queen, with very minimal belt rash, or finish dings. Gibson head stock and very much a Gibson feel. There is not another 76' for sale on the web, that I can find. Easy to tell what era these were made, just by looking at the head stock ;). All original, in amazing shape. This guitar has more sounds than I can wrap my brain around. Come stop by and play this beast of an axe today! ((THROWING IN GIG BAG CASE AS SHOWN TO PROTECT IT!!))
Set neck LP style, Jacaranda top, gold hardware, two Super Magnaflux pickups. MPC onboard electronics. Mexican abalone position inlays which make bending strings easier & smoother. Bounded neck and gold hardware. Includes factory Tone Spectrum Circuitry allowing 5 different pickup combinations rather than 3. Original Electra machine heads with 14:1 gear ratio.
HAS AN AMAZING TONE and SOUND WITH A REAL NICE SMOOTH FEEL and ACTION...CONSIDERING THIS GEM IS APPROX. 45 PLUS YEARS OLD AS SHOWN IN REAL NICE CONDITION w/ NO DENTS, CRACKS or DINGS, BUT TO BE EXPECTED TO HAVE SOME SCUFFS AND A FEW tiny MINOR SCRATCHES.....
((PLEASE REVIEW ALL PICS)) SOMETIME DURING ITS LIFE THE 5 WAY ROTARY SWITCH HAS BEEN REPLACE WITH THE 3 WAY TOGGLE..(3 WAY TOGGLE WORKS GREAT) ...AS SHOWN ALL MP ARE THERE ...I AM NOT A TECH TO MAKE THE EFFECTS WORK, BUT THE GUITAR WORKS AND SOUNDS GREAT THROUGH THE AMP...
