Pau Ferro on North American Cherry Strat Style 25.5 to 24.75 Conversion Neck

This Neck will work on any Strat Style Body that has a scale length of 25.5". This neck was engineered to convert a 25.5" Scale body to 24.75 (Gibson Scale). 

This is a brand new unfinished neck. The fretboard on this neck was manufactured to have a straight and even radius, but fret leveling and crowning may be needed for a low action setup. This neck has had a light coat of walnut oil to seal the wood and accentuate the grain!

You will notice in the pictures on the back of the neck near the headstock is a couple of dark spots. On is a very small knot and the other is a dark streak in the grain. This is part of the charm of North American Cherry. Both are smooth to the touch and will effect playability.

The frets on these necks are not leveled before sale. The fretboard is carefully manufactured to have a straight and even radius but fret leveling and crowning may be necessary for a low action setup. 

The neck does not have a finish coat, further sanding may be required before a finish is applied. This piece has a light coat of walnut oil applied to seal the wood and accentuate the grain.
