Reverend Volcano - the FINAL one EVER made - 2019 Natural

Cool collectible guitar here folks. So the Volcano has been a staple of the Reverend lineup for 14 years. It has had a significant number of variations in finish and pickup combinations, for years it was the basis of the Ron Asheton Signature Volcano,  but this Korina Humbucker version was the original makeup. 

So as many people know Gibson, under what we all assumed would be a positive new ownership change, decided to act like bullies and threatened many smaller builders in 2019, letting them know they were coming after them with a fury of litigious action if they didn't bow to Gibson's financial demands. The Volcano was just such a model. Reverend was like "WTF?" Despite the fact that Reverend would have prevailed in court (The Rev Volcano has a slightly offset lower half so it is a DIFFERENT shape from a symetrical V) Ken gave Gibson the metaphoric middle finger and just decided that the super cool Volcano would be eliminated from the lineup rather than allow his company to be extorted.

So they sold the remaining Volcano's that they had in stock and they flew off the shelves. This is the final Volcano. Literally. Everyone at the Circle R Ranch signed the back of the headstock. Reverend has grown so much in the past few years there is hardly room for all of the names. It also says "The last Natural V" on the back of the headstock and includes the original Reverend docs.

The pictures are all of the actual Volcano you will happily unpack. No aesthetic issues whatsoever. Listing includes the impossible to find Reverend Volcano case. The V shape is known for big, broad tone, and the Volcano doesn’t disappoint. The lightweight Korina body & neck provide increased resonance for a wicked combination of sustain and harmonics. Loaded with Reverend HA5 Humbuckers for thick, open tone, you get vintage vibe and bold style rolled into one badass rock machine!  The Volcano HB is a hard rocking V, with beefy tone, old school styling, and super simple construction. Core construction features include a solid korina body, flame maple top, korina neck (three-piece neck, medium oval contour, 3+3 headstock) and rosewood fingerboard (12" radius, medium jumbo frets, block inlays, 24-3/4" scale, 1.69" boneite nut). Main hardware and electronics features include a two-piece TOM/stoptail bridge, locking Reverend tuners.

Okay folks so this is it. You can rock with this. You can collect this and watch it appreciate as the Reverend brand continues to explode globally. Whatever you do with this guitar you can't lose.
