Complete Accent by Paul vibrato made for Rickenbacker guitars

The Rickenbacker Accent vibrato is an iconic piece of kit for a venerable line of guitars.  But before the plain Jane vibrato used for the last 55 years or so there was an earlier model which reflected the origins of the hardware.

The Accent vibrato was originally licensed from Paul Barth -- and that arrangement was reflected on every vibrato made with an embossed "Ac'cent by Paul" plaque affixed to every tailpiece.

Well, we've reproduced that early vibrato, including the plaque on the tailpiece.  If you're looking for the correct vibrato for a pre-1963 Rickenbacker -- or if you just like trapezoidal coolness of the plaque -- this vibrato is for you.

Like our standard vibratos, this one is designed to vintage specs (and is interchangeable with either new or old units), but engineered to be stronger than the originals:
- Our comb uses a solid steel pivot instead of the weaker brass pivot on the old pieces. Then, we micro-weld it into place. It's not breaking, it's not popping out.
- Our springs are also made to vintage specs: they're flatter than the current springs, giving you a better break angle across the bridge saddles. And again, they've been re-engineered to be stronger than the originals.
- Our arms are also like the old ones: longer, and with a more rounded tip. And -- again -- they're stronger: we use a steel rather than brass ring.

And don't forget: we also offer a full range of replacement parts for the Accent vibrato: tailpiece, spring, comb, arm, and screw.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are installing the vibrato on a guitar fitted with an R or trapeze tailpiece, you will want to substitute our adapter tailpiece for the standard tailpiece.  It's a free substitution, but you must let us know (send us a message after you order).  Not sure which tailpiece you need? If your guitar had an Accent installed, you want the standard tailpiece.  If your guitar had an R or trapeze installed, you want the adapter tailpiece.  Don't have a Rickenbacker?   If the distance from the top of the guitar body to the center of the strap bolt hole is greater than 9/16", you want the standard tailpiece.  If it's 9/16" or less, you want the adapter.
