Whether you play Jazz, Country, Rock n Roll, or Rockabilly, the Epiphone Emperor Swingster is sure to fill your needs, both in looks, tone and charm!
The Swingster starts with the same body as used on Epiphone's Emperor-II model, made famous by Joe Pass, and becomes a serious twangin', rock-a-billy slingin', country flingin' machine. The body is constructed of layered maple complete with 7-ply binding for the top and back. Adding not only to its looks but its versatility, is the addition of a Licensed Bigsby vibrato.
Complimenting the body, is a mahogany neck topped with a multi-ply bound laurel fingerboard that hosts 20 medium jumbo frets and block inlays.
Epiphone have loaded the Swingster with a pair of Swingbucker pickups, giving you access to an array of tonal options. The pickups are wired through a 3-way pickup selector, master volume and tone controls for each pickup, with push/pull switches built into each volume for series/parallel switching.
Other appointments include Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Graphtech NuBone nut, and Black Top Hat knobs with metal inserts.
