With this revamped and redesigned BB234 Yamaha have opted for their Custom V3 Ceramic Pickups. This versatile set naturally produces a crisp, clean sound with clearly defined frequencies that will suit a huge variety of genres and playing styles. These pickups have been designed to be the powerhouse of this workhorse bass guitar and will lap up slap styles, picked riffs or even heavily distorted rumbles.

This change will satisfy both old school and modern players by offering improving overall playability and feel. Players will still feel at home too thanks to a traditional Maple construction and Rosewood fingerboard that creates a perfectly balanced sonic platform for any player to learn their trade.

This Yamaha BroadBass 4 String Bass Guitar continues to prove its road ready, workhorse credentials in the hardware department too with reinvented super lightweight open gear tuners which have been designed to feel sturdy and dependable while providing unrivalled tuning integrity. The introduction of these tuners mean that the bass itself feels more balanced which is more in keeping with the smaller, lightweight body.
