The Motown Tone Machine
The Motown Tone Machine takes inspiration from the music and unbelievable bass lines and tones of the early Motown years, particularly the playing of James Jamerson. She is a unique blend of classic P-bass elements and Wrong Way Customs special touches.
The Soundcloud clip is a quick sample of this bass played through an Ashdown CTM-15 and recorded directly with a Tascam GT-R1. The tone knob was set at about 1/3.
