Neve Melbourn Raw Console Frame 1970's A4641
This listing is for a raw Neve Melbourn console frame. All the loose console parts shown in the photos are included in the sale: several plates, seven BA489 amplifier cards, an additional LO2567 output transformer, all of which would go back into the console for proper summing and output.
The console also has all of its original input and output transformers, as shown in the photos. Additionally, there is a 4 channel passive submixer on the bottom right side, including 4 Belclare input transformers.
Not included would be the 12 channel modules and center section modules, the patchbay connected via Plessey multipin connectors, and the power supply. The wooden side & top panels are also not present on this console. I also have no service manual for the console, but found plenty of documentation online.
Serial Number is A4641, and the Neve archivists I contacted believe it came from a Scottish television broadcast facility based on that serial. It is a "later period" Melbourn with RAF grey metalwork and metric screws, not the older B.A. fasteners. I'd prefer local pickup, but could arrange for crating and shipping, paid by the buyer, if that's the only option.
