About This Listing

For sale is a near new 16” Sabian HHX Stage Crash from the factory in New Brunswick, Canada. Sabian cymbals are still produced there and I hand selected this cymbal in Vancouver, BC several years ago. I have only used it twice in the last 5 years of owning it as I ended up going with Zildjian K Dark Thin cymbals, as that line was what was primarily in my cymbal setup already.

This cymbal is thin in weight with good projection and a nice, dark crash/wash. A little darker crash than my K Custom Dark crash but this has more clarity and stick definition. Beautiful cymbal and I hate to sell it, but it is not being used and I’ve decided to part ways with it.

Product Overview
A well-rounded model that brings out the best in warm, traditional tone and modern construction, the Sabian 16" HHX Stage Crash is a workhorse cymbal suited for any genre. Warm and responsive, the Stage Crash is built with both hand hammering and hand-guided machine hammering on a thin bow to elicit immediate response and shimmering decay. Finished with a raw bell for improved cut and attack, this cymbal works well for anyone after Turkish tone and vanguard design.
