Hello ! Up for sale is a really cool and retro compound distortion and Chorus pedal by Digitech....the PDS-2715 Rock Box ! Definitely an excellent effect for a lover of 80's music, by way of the independent Chorus effect with its own footswitch! For clean sounds, get your Roland JC120 fix with controls for level, speed and width. But this pedal also has a control for delay time for the Chorus...which gives you even more tonal options! Add it to the distortion on the other side of the pedal, and you've got the 80's rock and metal sounds that so many people still long to achieve! In addition to hair metal guitarists, you can also sound like Zakk Wylde and even Brian May from Queen ! And speaking of the dirt side, it is distortion all the way! You might be able to get some classic crunch if you turn your guitar volume down and turn the gain all the way down on the pedal. Otherwise, this thing is raunchy and nasty, but in a fairly musical way! Turn the gain up high and you are crossing into fuzz territory, which gives you even more versatility in this one box! So many sounds can be hand with this one dual effect machine!
In very good shape, especially considering the age of the unit! There are a few paint chips here and there, but the chassis is still in great shape...still pretty glossy! The footswitch for the Chorus effect is a little squirrel-y. Sometimes it takes 2 firm taps to turn it on or off. I'm guessing based on its age that it just needs to be stomped on some more to loosen the dust in the cavity. I just haven't used it much since I acquired it. This pedal comes to the lucky buyer cosmetically nice and clean!!!!
