Relisting - for parts only - the body should not be considered usable as is.
The bass was dropped by USPS and the body now has a crack that extends from the neck pocket on the lower horn to the back of the bass. This is shown in the second picture. All other pictures are from the original listing. I do believe this is a body crack as I can see the gap widen when I apply pressure. The bass does play as is however you are looking at a body that is very likely needing repair or replacement. All other components are fine. This will ship with the neck removed from the body to save shipping, and hopefully more damage.
Original listing follows
2009 Mexican Fender Precision Bass. This bass is in very good shape for its age. The frets look new, the neck is straight, and all electronics work as they should. This has been recently gone over by my bass tech and is ready to go.
The headstock does have a few dings where this was likely leaned against something. There are also a few spots where the body has very slight dings. There is only one spot I've found where the paint is cracking. If you know these basses then you know this is a common issue.
I am dating this from the body date which is November 2009. There is some slight natural relicing along the bottom of the body. You can just start to see the paint fading and a bit of the wood (primer?) color coming through. I've tried to capture all of this in the photos.
