I believe this is an early San Dimas Charvel body, probably prepro...could be a dimazrio body made by charvel. This guitar sounds amazing, huge spectrum, very Les Paul like... Married to an early warmoth/ boogie bodies neck. It has a professional paintjob by hand, body and headstock, all old. The Schecter bridge and neck piece looks like it was added in the early eighties. The early Bill Lawrence pickup measures out in the mid 13 ohm range. And is very articulate. Has an old 500k dimarzio pot, that looks original, the tone pot looks to have been added later. The body wood is heavy northern ash. This looks to be a rockstar guitar of days gone by...the way it's set-up, sounds and plays is pro. This is not a garage made parts guitar. I had a hard time choosing to let this go because of its tone...a really great rock instrument.
