1.     Check the electronics – Pickup(s), pots, switches and output jack

2.     Check the bass for consistency of finish

3.     Check the neck for straightness

4.     Check the neck joint for proper fit and neck to body angle

5.     Tune to pitch checking the tuning pegs

6.     Set the neck relief

7.     Check all frets. (Level frets if required). Check fret ends.  

8.     Adjust the intonation

9.     Adjust the string height

10.   Adjust the pickup height

11.   Adjust the nut height

12.   Test all notes on the fretboard

13.    Final playability run through

14.   Clean and polish the bass

15.   Professional repack
