Cary Audio V12R, this one has been modified with the V Cap CuTF caps, a $900 upgrade. Comes with 12BZ7 inputs (the original inputs Dennis Had chose), 7189 Select driver tubes, and 12 EL34 EH. Comes with 4 extra 12BZ7, and a matched quad of EL34EH. Has been my choice of amps for awhile now and is pretty transparent, lots of power (50W Triode, 100 Ultralinear), and with the new caps, very fast on the bottom end, yet transparent in the mid and highs. This unit is the R model, and was one of the last produced. Has all the upgrades done to it by Cary (larger transformers, internal upgrades, etc) originally, caps were an easy replacement done a tech

I love this amp as its sound is very musical. Why am I selling it? This thing gets super hot and unfortunately too hot my studio. You can run it with 4 tubes per side for a cooler temp. I’ve been running some high end (gulp) class d amps all summer and feel I can live with them for awhile.
This amp is totally specked out. One small issue is the left channel input tube has to be seated as the connection is sensitive but works flawlessly.

Also comes with the Cary Bias meter I purchased. (Sticky needle but a little tap sets it free).
Few small nicks in the paint here and there but still looks sexy as hell.
