Starr Guitars out of Florida, is a fully custom guitar company run by Kip Elder. They have built a big name for themselves for their masterful finishing work. While most of their finishes are pure Nitro, this is a one off in Polyurethane. This guitar feels and look a step above most other high-end instruments out there. Starr does finish work for many high-end manufactures and Lutheirs such as Ronin Guitars and Pensa Custom, as well as restoration work on the most sought after vintage guitars in the world. This custom handmade J-Bass is in nearly mint condition, having been shown at only one guitar show and then stored in its case. It features a beautiful Flame Maple neck with subtle figure and vintage appointments throughout, with the exception of the more comfortable modern 9.5" radius.
