About This Listing

Made in Japan, Vintage JV series from 1983 Fender Stratocaster. 37 years old and in excellent condition. comes with a gig bag and does not have a tremolo bar. Really nice bright Red finish, Humbucker bridge and single coil middle and neck. They sound great and are Alnico, not ceramic pickups. Refreshingly Even, like vintage pickups do as they age. Sound good clean or driven. Gotoh nickel hardware, stays in tune and plays well with pretty low action. Currently strung with 009 ga. Frets are medium jumbo, show zero wear, i dont think the guitar was played, just sat around. No buzzing anywhere and does seem to have the vintage 7-1/4 radius with a very thick rosewood slab and clay dots. Afficionados covet these JV series and are  the most valuable Japan made Fenders, going up in value all the time. They were only made about 2 years.
