Very sweet pair of harder to find 1960s Tungsram ECC83/12AX7A preamp tubes. These were made in Austria, and are among the finest sounding tubes you can buy. Very balanced, airy tones, rich and musical. Both tubes are the same date codes, and both feature the Tungsram signature dual support halo getters.

Both tubes tested very strong, with balanced triodes in the 85-87% life expectancy range based on original data specs for NOS test results for both tubes. You will hear the difference in your amp when you plug these in, preferably in the V1 or V2 slots, which is where the tone starts to emerge. The difference between true vintage tubes and stuff made today is mind blowing. These tubes will wake your amp up and truly make it sing.

Your results may vary slightly based on different test factors & equipment, but will be within the presented ranges in 99.9% of the case, most times slightly higher, as we use the lower test results as the benchmark. In other words: We don't overinflate the values to "hook you in", or use LIKE NEW or NOS to describe tubes, unless truly accurate (NOTE: Very rare to find TRUE NOS stuff, 99% of tubes listed online are used). You WILL, however, receive honest test results as best we can determine with 50+ year old electronic valves. Your tubes will be packaged safely & securely with appropriate materials to ensure safe arrival. We do not skimp to save. Our packing receives a LOT of praise time & time again.
