I am selling my Lafferty Octave Mandolin. It is in great shape overall.
The only modification is that the previous owner installed an armrest using 2 screws in the side of the instrument. When I received the instrument I did not like the placement of the armrest, so I removed it. There was an extra hole drilled where the armrest was incorrectly placed. I have filled all 3 holes with wooden dowels and super glue (see pictures).
This is the shorter scale version (20-21"). Spruce top, maple back and sides. Flat ebony fretboard. Made in the USA. It will ship with the hardshell case pictured as well as the armrest and screws to mount it if you wish to.
These instruments generally sell for $1500 new, so save a few dollars and buy this one!
