Check out the YouTube video in the listing for the sound of S-1 Set!

Our signature pickups are SETbuckers BUT it does not mean our single coil pickups aren't competent. The first pickups CJ wound were a set of single coil pickups. They are still in one of his partscasters and he likes their sound better than any other ones. The S1 spec was set based on the ideas born from those pickups and following experiments. Be bold and try it for your beloved Strat!

All CJLab single coil pickups are wound at a large pitch to mimic scatter winding and then less magnetized for tight bottom and round high.

Single Coil Series S-1N/1R/1B, Strat Home Coming (SHC)

- A5 magnet / HFV42
- Neck: 6.0 kohm
- Middle: 6.0 kohm, RW/RP (reverse wound/reverse polarity)
- Bridge: 6.75 kohm
- Cover color: white or black (message us for cover color)

SHC is aimed to replicate the late 50's to early 60's vintage single coil pickups. The winding spec was slightly adjusted to give a tad more accent to the tight bottom for smoother but growling drive tone. An SHC set consists of a neck pickup, a middle pickup with RW/RP (reverse wound/revers polarity) and an over-wound bridge pickup. If you want to build a vintage style set, pick out an N-R-N trio.
