The WA76 from Warm Audio is a modern reproduction of the 1176 revision D limiting amplifier. With its completely discrete signal path and use of the original Reichenbach Engineering's (now CineMag) transformer design, the unit remains as faithful as possible to the construction of the original classic.

The 1176 was a major breakthrough in limiter technology, being the first true peak limiter with an all transistor circuitry while offering superior performance and a signature sound. The ultra-fast attack time was and still is a sound coveted by many legendary artists and studio engineers. This reproduction includes the famous "all buttons in" setting.

True to the classic 1176 compressor in design and performance Completely discrete signal path Modeled after the D revision Utilizes USA made CineMag input and output transformers Supports "all buttons in" ratio setting Ultra-fast attack time Class-A line-level output amplifier
