I have a nice Tokai Springy Sound Strat, l bought this from Japan had it sent over to the states many years ago. I believe it has the U stamp pickups if l remember correctly. All original except the bone nut which was cut when this guitar was re-fretted a few years ago. Not much of little dings on this guitar, some normal wear but nothing major, actually in very good condition, any marks you see are camera reflections, no faults in the finish. I had medium jumbo frets put in and it was not played much so they are like new, no marks. This is a Springy Sound not a Goldstar, this is a copy of a Fender 62 strat, l believe. This guitar is special in that it sounds incredible, every skilled player remarked how good it plays and sounds. Only thing that might be non-original is back cover plate. The new nut was cut to give a little wider space,1 and 11/16" width at nut, original neck shape, l believe it's a C shape or whatever was original, pickups have no issues. No fret buzzes up the neck, can be played with very low action and not buzz. This is a very nice playing Tokai Springy Sound, not sure of the year but the serial number had two 00 so l think it's an 1980. Check my feedback, ask any questions just message me. Not many of these around, the number stamped on last fret I think says 50 but could be 60..?
