ALL ORIGINAL circa 1984 Tokai TST-55 Goldstar Sound - VERY RARE Lefty/Left Hand example
For those that know what vintage Tokai Strats are all about, you will no
doubt understand the photos, recognize this example is intact &
original, that it
has not been messed with, and also realize that an
example such as this is currently quite rare considering the three & one half decade vintage of the instrument. Many of these
have been altered, modified, or even parted out but not this example.
This example is fully intact and all attributes are present. All solder
is original & undisturbed, the body tooling is correct, the body
& neck codes match, the VII stamped gray bottom pickups are
present, as are the DELUXE stamped tuners, the FINAL PROSPEC stamped
steel saddles, steel tremolo block, L24903 neck plate, 55 grade sticker
on neck heel, and this example has a 2 piece/center seam light weight
Alder body.
This very rare & super clean left hand example TST-55 Goldstar Sound would be great for any Tokai collector, any left hand player seeking a great high quality left hand Strat, or for the right hand player looking to do the 'Jimi' thing. This Tokai Goldstar Sound will check all those boxes.
CONDITION: This example easily rates EXCELLENT. Back in the day terms such as 'crazy clean' & 'under the bed' would typically be used to describe an example in this wonderful condition.
It really is hard to believe just how clean this example is; stunning. There are the typical superficial items such as pick guard & clear coat scratches, which are not easily noticeable. The most notable items are three areas that are minor dings; two areas on either side of the strap peg end of the body likely from a guitar stand, and one area on the rear of the lower horn. Please see photos.
