Mind-altering destructive chaotic power. Here's the original description:
Two pedals in one box, clones of the Lips Flaming Ring Space and
the Machine Reverberation (shuffle words accordingly), and with a toggle
switch to flip the order for either space ring into reverberation
machine, or vise versa. The FLSR clone was built on a wormloch pcb and
has some really awesome additions that make it ultra user friendly.
There’s an added mixer of sorts to blend in whatever other effects are
before it in the chain like modulation or your fav fuzz, as well as just
clean guitar/bass. Or use the blend control with the reverberation
machine and flip the switch to reverse the pedal order, it's real neat
to put it mildly. There's also a center low profile mod footswitch with
dedicated level control that takes you to multidimensional chaos. Of
course these are all simply additions to the FLSR and they can be left
alone/not used, all the stock controls (warp, level, xyz switch) are
there and function just like on the original if you just want
unadulterated FL Space Ring. The Reverberation Machine side has that
beautiful loose gravel fuzz with the gain control cranked up, as well as
the sunshine/darkness switch, plus enough volume to clip anything down
the road from it. And there are sooo many more sounds to create beyond
just run-of-the-mill verb here. Especially when flipping the order
switch to have reverb before space ring, or my personal fav was testing
it with an echo pedal in the chain and mixing it in using the clean
control. Discovery is endless here.
This pedal plays nice
with keys, guitar, bass, or all by itself. Build fascinating soundscapes
from space just tweaking knobs with no instruments at all plugged in.
There is a video to show some of the features, but impossible to capture
everything capable. It was recorded using guitar, junk riffs and
junkier gear, (epi sg straight into pedal then soundcard/iphone),
showing you don’t need to be a virtuoso or have fancy gear to make
incredible sounds and textures. And be forewarned, you can get lost for
hours in it, maybe even vertigo. I tested the pedal extensively and
couldn't possibly try every combo, just too many. It has all top mounted
genuine Lumberg jacks, Alpha stomps, Xicon transformers, long Belton
brick, and well, blah blah…it’s flipping awesome. Put together slowly
and with much expense. As shown in the pic of the inside, it’s a very
well built high quality pedal. Even if you spent the big pile of cash to
buy the two originals, they still wouldn't be able to do what this
does. I really doubt you’ll see another one like it. Pedal runs on
standard 9V power supplies, not yucky batteries. Box is appx
144x118x38mm.
