The Ibanez GSR205B 5 String Bass, here in Walnut Flat finish, adopts the stealthy, aggressive Ibanez looks along with appointments that will give the budget bassist a machine that is unrivalled in comfort, playability and tonal versatility. Why should the pros have all the fun?

The Mahogany body is sleek and smooth in it's design with a compact feel and weight reduced construction. This build means resonant, thundering lows and crisp highs on demand, while remaining super comfortable for the long haul on stage or in the studio.

For the neck Ibanez have chosen a maple neck with a super slimline profile. This small neck is design for both comfort and speed lending itself to those quick bass riffs and fast driven grooves with ease.

Another killer feature that makes the GSR205B such a competent instrument is it's PHAT II Bass Boost Control System. This advanced pickup and EQ combination allows players to dial in their perfect amount of lows, highs and mids to suit their needs at any time jumping from clean slap funk to thunderous rumbles at will.
