Vintage 1957 Framus Texas Mandolin With Lifton Case
This is one of the earliest, best built, and coolest mandolins from Framus.
Solid Brazilian Rosewood back and sides with Spruce top.
Good, low action. Tuners work well. Slotted headstock.
Some crazing to the finishes and nicks/scrapes.
Measures 9 3/4" across the lower bout with a 13" scale length
and 1 3/16" wide nut. Overall length is about 25".
Comes with a 40s vintage Lifton case. Built like a fortress.
The latch tongue has sprung it's spring. It does a great job
of protecting the mandolin and fits very nicely.
Thanks for looking.
