I bought this guitar in January for a John Mayer inspired build I never started. This was the original description:
"This is a pre-owned electric guitar. This stratocaster features a 21 fret rosewood fretboard, 3 pickups (duncan 59 dimarzio and traditional single coil bridge as pictured), controlled by a 5 way selector switch, one volume knob, 2 tone knobs, and a traditional strat bridge. The back of the body has several small dings and abrasions consistent with buckle rash and the back plate shows the same signs. There is a small burn mark on the headstock and a few small dings there as well. Overall the guitar is in good cosmetic condition and the electronics are in full working order. The item listed is the exact item you will receive. There are no additional unpictured accessories. Refer to pictures for more detail."
The only changes I made to the guitar were to put on left handed CTS pots and correct lefty numbered knobs.
I can't tell if this is a relic job or a natural relic or someone converted it to right and back to lefty. The nut is cut for lefty. There is a cigarette burn on the headstock and the backplate and tuners look like there was an extra set of holes drilled.
The back of the neck correctly says "Made in Japan" and the serial number is JXXXXXXX. Will ship in the gig bag i received it in.
