This instrument is new old stock and is priced as such. The instrument has never been sold but has been on display for some time at our shop. There are a few points of showroom wear to note. First and foremost, this Vintage 35 banjo exhibits tarnish on parts of the armrest, tailpiece, and much of the rim. This is shown in two of the photographs uploaded for the listing. On the photo indicating the placement of the 5th string spikes, a small mark in the rosewood fingerboard is visible on the 7th fret lying between the 1st and 2nd strings. Lastly, in the photo showing the back of the headstock and the Keith tuning pegs, one can marks of wear atop the headstock.
