We have a large inventory of exotic tonewoods for the guitars that we build in house, and we have some "one-off" extra pieces that we have decided to run control plates and pickgaurds out of.  Pictured are Black Acacia (australian blackwood), Ziricote, and Honduran Rosewood......but we have flame maple, mahogany, Indian/Brazilian rosewood, and camatillo just to name a few.  We can send pictures for you to choose to match your custom build.

RETURN POLICY
Since wood can and does sometimes crack, you are assuming some risk in purchasing these custom wood parts....in the event that this happens, and you contact us with clear pictures that show the cracks were in the wood and NOT FROM IMPACT OR MISHANDLING, we will replace the plate for $5 plus shipping.  We must receive the claim and the pictures within 10 days of receipt or this offer is VOID
*If you screw up the installation and break the plate, we'll probably do the same.....because schtuff happens, and we get it, just send pictures,  and give us a week or two to make you another.

The following pictured are approximately .150" thickness, which will stand higher than most plastic pickgaurds.  We do this to prevent cracking, and we personally like the way it looks, but if you have a particular desired thickness that you need us to sand to in our shop, we have a belt sander that can achieve this uniformly.....to do this, please contact us before purchasing,  there may be an additional $10 job charge. 

Please contact us directly if you are interested in having us make one of these for you, as we can vary the Wood Species, thickness, with or without holes, and we can change the 3-way position as well.  We're asking $22 for the plates that we have already made, but if you would like something custom just contact us and we'll get you a quote.

*We typically do a light coat of shellac or tru-oil, not a heavy lacquer, so that's another option for you to consider.
