About This Listing

I bought this from a friend of mine who bought it brand new back in 1980. The only thing that's original on the guitar is the wood. All other parts and electronics were replaced with upgrades.

The BC has a Fishman acoustic bridge that adds an acoustic element to the guitar and it has a blend knob to blend the acoustic and electric pickups. Also come with a piezo/magnetic cable.

The Tommy Doyle pickups are super clean and yet get great lead tones ! The chicken knob taps every part of the blades on the pickups and the other switches are choke & ohm switches. Dozens of combinations plus you have the added feature of the acoustic pickup which gives endless possibilities with blending and all the switches. The neck had a small repair awhile back that does not affect the integrity, stability, feel or tone in any way. The machine heads are Sperzel. Also comes with strap & OHSC.

The serial number is 83734

These guitars are becoming very rare from that year.

This guitar was made by Bernie Rico himself (founder of BC Rich)
