Ovation Viper, white/cream finish, player's grade, with Ovation case. I purchased this guitar used without a case. Case was acquired on eBay. Guitar was professionally re-fretted in August of 2018 and was re-shielded earlier this year. Truss rod cover is non-original and output jack has been replaced. Guitar has dings, dents, and finish checking all over. Pick guard is starting to crack near the output jack. Small pair of cracks near the heel joint on the upper bout. Largest pair of dings are on the lower bout (shown). Guitar plays nice with the re-fret, but these pick-ups are extremely bright and still have quite a bit of hum, although this was reduced somewhat by re-shielding. I would consider the case to be functional, but in poor shape cosmetically. A previous owner had done some patch work on various regions of the case exterior using some sort of polymeric material. The resulting look is not good. There are also some cracks in the case (shown) and the interior compartment lid is coming off on one end. All latches work. If you like weird/unusual stuff from the past, this might be something that interests you. Thanks Note: Metal brackets that encase the pickups have started to detach slightly, especially on the neck pick up.
