This is an Embie Concepts Embie-Matic archtop bridge base. It's self-conforming, made exactly like the original Melita Synchro-Sonic archtop base. The post diameter is
.196" / 4.978mm, with 32 threads per inch. The post spacing is
3 3/8" / 85.725mm, and will fit any vintage Melita Synchro-Sonic, as well as any reproduction Gretsch Synchro-Sonic bridge top. The feet bottoms are covered with thin silicone pads to grip to your guitar's top, while protecting its finish. We also offer a pinned version of this bridge base.
This base is rattle-free, and is a great replacement or upgrade for any vintage Melita Synchro-Sonic, as well as any reproduction Gretsch Synchro-Sonic bridge. It is available in short, standard or tall post height options, see measurements below. We also make custom bridge post heights, just send us your measurements!
