Toltec Pickups are a brand new, hand wound pickup company, based in West Yorkshire UK.

Each Pickup is individually handcrafted with loving care, by players, for players.

• Pickup bobbins - Individually hand built using laser cut vulcanized fibreboard flatwork and flat Alnico 5 rod magnets
  
• Coil Winding - Individually hand wound with .43 poly enameled copper wire to 11k ohms. Incorprating a scatter wound technique, reducing capacitance interaction between winds producing superior detail, dynamics and tone. Copper plated steel base plate
• Coil Magnetising (Gaussing) - Hand magnetized using Neodymium magnets, with south up polarity for noise cancelling in position 2 when combied with one of our north up neck pickups (also available to custom order..just ask)
  
• Hook up wires - Hand wired with vintage pushback cloth covered wire
  
• Wax potting - Hand potted in liquid wax removing unwanted resonances and minimising microphonic feedback at high gain settings
